The 2-1-1 hotline is the toll-free health and human services referral service system available arcoss all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico and funded respective, by local United Way offices.  The mission of 2-1-1 is to connect people with information and resources to build healthy, safe communities.  Their vision is to build stronger communities, day-to-day and in times of emergency.  Especially now, during COVID-19 pandemic, the 2-1-1 system and their 24-hour service has been available for referral sourcing for individuals and families with needs during this national emergency.  For Monroe County coverage, the call center is located within the United Way of Southeastern Michigan 2-1-1 in Wayne County.  The Monroe/Lenawee United Way pays for these services.

The mission of 2-1-1 is to connect people with information and resources to build healthy, safe communities.  Their vision is to build stronger communities, day-to-day and in times of emergency.  Especially now, during COVID-19 pandemic, the 2-1-1 system and their 24-hour service has been available for referral sourcing for individuals and families with needs during this national emergency.  For Lenawee County, the call center is Central Michigan 2-1-1, hosted at Lifeways Community Mental Health in Jackson. the United Way of Southeastern Michigan 2-1-1 in Wayne County.  The Monroe/Lenawee United Way pays for these services.
