Child Advocacy Network (CAN) of Monroe County
The Child Advocacy Network (CAN) of Monroe County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect by strengthening families and building a safer, more supportive community. We are proud to partner with United Way fiduciary partner, helping us expand our reach and impact.
Through collaboration with local partners, service providers, and community members, CAN provides vital education and resources to empower caregivers and protect children.
We offer community trainings in key areas, including:
- ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
- Hope (Healthy Outcome from Positive Experiences)
- Mandated Reporter Training
- Safe Sleep Practices
- Car Seat Safety
When funding is available, we are also able to provide:
- Safe sleep resources, such as sacks and Pack 'n Plays
- Child car seats to support transportation safety for families in need.
